     James Brunton was born on 10 March 1781.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Stenhouse, daughter of John Stenhouse, on 3 December 1831.¹ He died on 19 May 1863 at age 82.¹

     Agnes Stenhouse was born circa 1806.¹ She was the daughter of John Stenhouse.¹ She married James Brunton on 3 December 1831.¹ She died on 16 April 1848.¹
     From 3 December 1831, her married name became Brunton.

     Sir Thomas Lauder Brunton, 1st Bt. was born on 14 March 1844.¹ He was the son of James Brunton and Agnes Stenhouse.¹ He married Louisa Jane Stopford, daughter of Venerable Edward Adderley Stopford, on 20 September 1879.¹ He died on 16 September 1916 at age 72.¹
     He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, in 1866 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, in 1867 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, in 1868 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, in 1870 with a Doctor of Science (Sc.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1876.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He was a consultant physician at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, England^G.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G, in 1889.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, in 1898.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1900.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) by Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1908.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Brunton, of Stratford Place, St. Marylebone [U.K.] on 17 July 1908.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.²
     

     Venerable Edward Adderley Stopford is the son of Edward Stopford.
     He held the office of Archdeacon of Meath.¹ He lived at Kells, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     Louisa Jane Stopford was the daughter of Venerable Edward Adderley Stopford.¹ She married Sir Thomas Lauder Brunton, 1st Bt., son of James Brunton and Agnes Stenhouse, on 20 September 1879.¹ She died on 10 April 1909.¹
     From 20 September 1879, her married name became Brunton.

     Sir James Porter Corry, 1st Bt. was born on 8 September 1826.¹ He was the son of Robert Corry and Jane Porter.² He married Margaret Service, daughter of William Service, on 10 July 1849.¹ He died on 28 November 1891 at age 65.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Belfast between 1874 and 1885.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Corry, of Dunraven, co. Antrim [U.K.] on 15 September 1885.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mid-Armagh between 1886 and 1891.¹
