Sir Michael John Bewes Grierson of Lag, 12th Bt.1 
He was educated at Warden House School, Deal, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was educated at St. Edmund’s School, Canterbury, Kent, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1946, with the Royal Air Force.2 He was a civil engineer.2 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Grierson, of Lag, co. Dumfries [N.S., 1685] on 5 May 1987.2,3 He lived in 2003 at 40C Palace Road, Streatham Hill, London, EnglandG.2
