     Lucy Ann Hargreaves was born in 1841 at Accrington, Lancashire, England.1 She was the daughter of Robert Hargreaves and Louisa Ward.1 She married Humphrey Sandwith, son of Humphrey Sandwith and Jane Ward, on 29 May 1860 at St. Stephen’s Church, Paddington, London, England.2,3 She died on 6 May 1882 at Algiers, Algeria.3
     From 29 May 1860, her married name became Sandwith.2
