     From 25 October 1883, her married name became Huggins.¹

     Elizabeth Grierson was born circa 1811 at East Lothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Gilbert Grierson of Lag, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Dalzell.¹ She died on 19 February 1867 at Firth Cottage, Greenhill Bank, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Judith Grierson was born on 12 July 1815.² She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Gilbert Grierson of Lag, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Dalzell.¹ She married William James Davidson on 14 June 1844 at Lymphoy, Currie, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^1,2 She died on 7 June 1845 at age 29.¹
     From 14 June 1844, her married name became Davidson.¹

     Sir Robert Gilbert White Grierson of Lag, 10th Bt. was born on 27 September 1883 at Morden, Surrey, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, 9th Bt. and Fannie White.¹ He married Hilda Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, on 13 September 1911.¹ He died on 16 June 1957 at age 73 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Scots.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Grierson, of Lag, co. Dumfries [N.S., 1685] on 1 April 1912.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 1st/5th Battalion, King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Hilda Stewart was the daughter of James Stewart.¹ She married Sir Robert Gilbert White Grierson of Lag, 10th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, 9th Bt. and Fannie White, on 13 September 1911.¹ She died on 17 May 1962.¹
     From 13 September 1911, her married name became Grierson.¹

     Sir Richard Douglas Grierson of Lag, 11th Bt. was born on 25 June 1912 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Robert Gilbert White Grierson of Lag, 10th Bt. and Hilda Stewart.¹ He died on 5 May 1987 at age 74, unmarried.^1,2
     He was educated at Imperial Service College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was a journalist.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Grierson, of Lag, co. Dumfries [N.S., 1685] on 16 June 1957.¹

     Lt.-Col. Alexander George William Grierson was born on 27 October 1884 at Croydon, Morden, Surrey, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, 9th Bt. and Fannie White.¹ He married Violet Ethel Bewes, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Edward Bewes, in 1920.¹ He died on 29 March 1951 at age 66 at 6 The Beach, Walmer, Kent, England^G.^1,3
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of Russia.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Marines.¹

     Violet Ethel Bewes was born on 6 February 1900 at 17 Newry Fawr, St. Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Edward Bewes.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Alexander George William Grierson, son of Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, 9th Bt. and Fannie White, in 1920.¹ She died on 24 January 1980 at age 79 at 6 The Beach, Walmer, Kent, England.^1,3
