     Lieutenant Francis William Talbot Clerke was born on 6 March 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir William Francis Clerke, 11th Bt. and Beatrice Menzies.² He married Albinia Mary Evans-Lombe, daughter of Major Edward Henry Evans-Lombe and Albinia Harriet Leslie-Melville, on 4 October 1911.¹ He died on 26 September 1916 at age 30, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹

     Major Edward Henry Evans-Lombe was the son of Reverend Henry Evans Lombe. He married Albinia Harriet Leslie-Melville, daughter of Alexander Samuel Leslie-Melville and Hon. Albinia Frances Brodrick, on 25 May 1896.² He died on 5 April 1952.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Marlingford Hall, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Albinia Mary Evans-Lombe was born in 1887.² She was the daughter of Major Edward Henry Evans-Lombe and Albinia Harriet Leslie-Melville.^3,2 She married, firstly, Lieutenant Francis William Talbot Clerke, son of Sir William Francis Clerke, 11th Bt. and Beatrice Menzies, on 4 October 1911.¹ She married, secondly, Anthony Henry Evelyn Ashley, son of Rt. Hon. Anthony Evelyn Melbourne Ashley and Lady Alice Elizabeth Cole, on 6 March 1920.¹ She married, thirdly, Air Chief Marshal Sir Edgar Rainey Ludlow-Hewitt on 3 February 1923.¹ She died on 16 April 1972.¹
     From 4 October 1911, her married name became Clerke. From 6 March 1920, her married name became Ashley.¹ From 3 February 1923, her married name became Ludlow-Hewitt.¹

     Sir John Edward Longueville Clerke, 12th Bt. was born on 29 October 1913.² He was the son of Lieutenant Francis William Talbot Clerke and Albinia Mary Evans-Lombe.² He married Mary Beviss Bond, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ivor Reginald Beviss Bond, on 6 July 1948.² He and Mary Beviss Bond were divorced in 1986.² He died on 1 October 2009 at age 95.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Clerke, of Hitcham, co. Buckingham [E., 1660] in 1930.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)² He fought in the Second World War.² He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.) in 1948.² He lived in 2003 at Sampford House, 27 Shurnhold, Bath Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, England^G.²

     G/Capt. Rupert Francis Henry Clerke was born on 13 April 1916.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant Francis William Talbot Clerke and Albinia Mary Evans-Lombe.² He married, firstly, Ann Jocelyn Tosswill, daughter of Maurice Julian Tosswill, on 15 June 1945.¹ He and Ann Jocelyn Tosswill were divorced in 1972.¹ He married, secondly, Pamela Emily Bayliss, daughter of F. H. Bayliss, in 1975.¹ He died on 25 December 1988 at age 72.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹

     From 15 June 1945, her married name became Clerke.

     Robert William Clerke was born on 19 April 1952.¹ He is the son of G/Capt. Rupert Francis Henry Clerke and Ann Jocelyn Tosswill.²
     He was educated Eton.¹

     Nicola Frances Clerke was born on 30 May 1950.¹ She is the daughter of G/Capt. Rupert Francis Henry Clerke and Ann Jocelyn Tosswill.²

     David Herbert Hamund Clerke was born on 14 March 1897.¹ He was the son of Sir William Francis Clerke, 11th Bt. and Beatrice Menzies.² He died on 16 May 1965 at age 68, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th/19th Hussars.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1918.¹
