     From 24 August 1884, her married name became Clifford.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Kenrick was born circa 1799.² She was the daughter of George Watkin Kenrick.³ She married Lt.-Col. Sir William Clerke, 9th Bt., son of Sir William Henry Clerke, 8th Bt. and Byzantia Cartwright, on 2 May 1820.¹ She died on 12 June 1873.¹
     From 2 May 1820, her married name became Clerke.

     Sir William Henry Clerke, 10th Bt. was born on 17 November 1822 at Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir William Clerke, 9th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Kenrick.³ He married Georgina Gosling, daughter of Robert Gosling and Georgina Vere Sullivan, on 28 November 1849 at Lyne Church, Chertsey, Surrey, England^G.² He died on 8 February 1882 at age 59 at 10 Eaton Place South, London, England^G.²
     He was Principal Clerk in the Treasury.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Clerke, of Hitcham, co. Buckingham [E., 1660] on 16 February 1861.¹

     Mary Dora Clerke was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Clerke, 9th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Kenrick.² She married Reverend Theodore Beale on 26 May 1863.¹ She died on 31 March 1918.¹
     From 26 May 1863, her married name became Beale.

     Reverend Theodore Beale married Mary Dora Clerke, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir William Clerke, 9th Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Kenrick, on 26 May 1863.¹ He died in 1887.¹

     Sir William Francis Clerke, 11th Bt. was born on 16 January 1856.¹ He was the son of Sir William Henry Clerke, 10th Bt. and Georgina Gosling.² He married Beatrice Menzies, daughter of Graham Menzies, on 21 June 1884.¹ He died on 27 June 1930 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 28 May 1874.³ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple on 29 June 1881 entitled to practise as a barrister.³ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Clerke, of Hitcham, co. Buckingham [E., 1660] on 8 February 1882.¹ He was chairman of the Royal Hospital for Incurables, Putney between 1923 and 1930.¹
