     George Halifax Lumley-Savile, 3rd Baron Savile of Rufford was born on 24 January 1919.¹ He was the son of John Savile Savile-Lumley, 2nd Baron Savile of Rufford and Esmé Grace Virginia Wolton.^1,3 He died on 2 June 2008 at age 89.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Savile of Rufford, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1888] on 3 April 1931.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1943 and 1944 in the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment (W R), attached to 1st Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment in Burma.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1954.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dewsbury in 1955.³ He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.) in 1982.¹ He lived in 2003 at Walshaw, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, England.³

     John Savile Savile-Lumley, 2nd Baron Savile of Rufford was born on 20 September 1853 at Rectory House, Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^1,3 He was the son of Reverend Frederick Savile-Lumley and Mary Jenkins.^1,3 He married, firstly, Gertrude Violet Webster-Wedderburn, daughter of Charles Francis Webster-Wedderburn and Anne Helyar, on 3 November 1894.¹ He married, secondly, Esmé Grace Virginia Wolton, daughter of John Wolton, on 1 February 1916.¹ He died on 3 April 1931 at age 77 at Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^1,3
     He was given the name of John Savile Lumley at birth.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was with the Foreign Office between 1873 and 1889.¹ He was Attaché to Brussels in 1874.¹ He was 2nd Secretary to Athens in 1879.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1891 in the Nottinghamshire Imperial Yeomanry.⁴ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Savile of Rufford, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1888] on 28 November 1896.¹ In 1898 his name was legally changed to John Savile Savile-Lumley by Royal Licence.¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1903.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire.¹

     Reverend Frederick Savile-Lumley was born illegitimately on 15 March 1819.¹ He was the son of John Lumley-Savile, 8th Earl of Scarbrough and Agnes (?)¹ He married Mary Jenkins, daughter of Robert Castle Jenkins, on 29 May 1849 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He died in 1859.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1846 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Rector in 1847 at Billsthorpe, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Agnes (?) was born circa 1791 at France^G.^1,2
     She was apparently a Frenchwoman who had been turned out of doors by her husband and who took the name Lumley (though all her sons by the Earl are presumed to have been originally called Savile-Lumley.)¹ She lived in 1841 at South Street, St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.²

     Charles Anthony Peter Duncombe, 6th Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park was born on 3 January 1945.¹ He was the son of Colonel Anthony John Duncombe-Anderson and Gioranna Georgina Valerie McNalty.^1,3 He married, firstly, Shannon Foy, daughter of Sir Thomas Arthur Wyness Foy, on 12 September 1966.¹ He married, secondly, Pauline M. Aldridge, daughter of John Aldridge, on 6 October 1979.¹ He died on 29 March 2009 at age 64 at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull, Yorkshire, England^G.³
     He was given the name of Charles Anthony Peter Duncombe-Anderson at birth.³ Charles Anthony Peter Duncombe, 6th Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park usually went by his middle name of Peter.¹ On 12 March 1954 his name was legally changed to Charles Anthony Peter Duncombe by Deed Poll.³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park, Yorkshire [U.K., 1826] on 4 September 1963.⁴ He was admitted to Inner Temple.¹ He wrote the book A Wolf in Tooth, published 1967.¹ He was Governor between 1969 and 1976 at Leeds Polytechnic, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹ He wrote the book Great Yachts, published 1970.¹ He lived in 2003 at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Colonel Anthony John Duncombe-Anderson was born on 4 February 1907.¹ He was the son of Wilfred Arthur Duncombe-Anderson and Margaret Louise Anderson.^1,2 He married Gioranna Georgina Valerie McNalty, daughter of Major C. E. Irvine McNalty, on 9 October 1931.² He died on 20 November 1949 at age 42.¹
     He was also known as Antony John Duncombe.² He graduated from Hertford College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the West Yorkshire Regiment.² He was Senior Control Officer, Control Commission for Germany.²

     Wilfred Arthur Duncombe-Anderson was born on 30 September 1871.¹ He was the son of Frederick William Duncombe and Lady Katherine French Acheson.^2,3 He married Margaret Louise Anderson, daughter of Francis Foljambe Anderson, on 7 June 1905.² He died on 13 October 1952 at age 81.¹
     He was given the name of Wilfred Arthur Duncombe at birth.² He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Dragoon Guards.² He fought in the Boer War.² In June 1905 his name was legally changed to Wilfred Arthur Duncombe-Anderson by Royal Licence.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Territorial Forces Reserve and Cheshire Yeomanry.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Jampshire.²

     Frederick William Duncombe was born on 28 January 1842.¹ He was the son of Admiral Hon. Arthur Duncombe and Delia Field.^1,2 He married Lady Katherine French Acheson, daughter of Archibald Acheson, 3rd Earl of Gosford and Lady Theodosia Brabazon, on 28 July 1868 at England.³ He died on 6 February 1878 at age 36.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Shannon Foy was the daughter of Sir Thomas Arthur Wyness Foy.¹ She married Charles Anthony Peter Duncombe, 6th Baron Feversham of Duncombe Park, son of Colonel Anthony John Duncombe-Anderson and Gioranna Georgina Valerie McNalty, on 12 September 1966.¹ She died on 13 August 1976.¹
     After her marriage, Shannon Foy was styled as Baroness Feversham of Duncombe Park on 12 September 1966. From 12 September 1966, her married name became Duncombe.¹
