     Commander Alexander Robert Ramsay was born on 12 May 1910.2 He was the son of Robert Christian Ramsay and Olive Zillah Voss.2 He married Helen Macgregor Shaw, daughter of J. M. Shaw, on 15 March 1944.2 He died on 21 January 2004 at age 93 at Cambooya, Queensland, Australia.3,4
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) and bar.2 He lived at 15 Gault Road, Belair, South Australia, Australia.2

Mary Angela FitzRoy, on 10 October 1972.3 He and Belinda Mary Musker were divorced.2 He married, secondly, Claire Rose Pelly, daughter of Douglas Gurney Pelly and Monica Tate, in 1984.1 He died on 12 June 2023 at age 76 at Wilton, Wiltshire, England.4
