Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, 3rd Bt.1 
He was granted 10,000 marks in recognition of his father’s services and compensation for the destruction of his lands.1 He commanded his father’s regiment in Ireland, but resigned his command, and declared for the King.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Campbell, of Auchinbreck [N.S., 1628] in 1645.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire [Scotland] in 1649.1
