     Charlotte Hugonin was born on 18 April 1788 at Exeter, Devon, England.¹ She was the daughter of General Francis Hugonin.¹ She married Roderick Impey Murchison, son of Kenneth Murchison of Tarradall and Barbara Mackenzie, on 15 August 1815.¹ She died on 9 February 1869 at age 80.¹
     From 15 August 1815, her married name became Murchison.¹
