Oliver Lambart, 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan1 
He was appointed Knight in June 1596 at the storming of Cadiz.2,1 He was an officer under the Earl of Essex in Ireland.2 He was Master of the Camp in 1599.2 He was commander of the 200 Foot at Enniscorthy, County Wexford.2
He gained the rank of Sergeant-Major of the Army.2 He held the office of Governor of Connaught in 1601.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1603.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan between 1613 and 1615.2 He was created 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan, co. Cavan [Ireland] on 17 February 1617/18.1
He also had two other daughters.2

He lived at Stone Court, Carshalton, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He was a goldsmith at London, EnglandG.3 He was also known as Walter Lambert.3 He became a Warden of the Goldsmith’s Company in 1541.3
