     Ronald Crauford Munro-Ferguson, 1st and last Viscount Novar was born on 6 March 1860.¹ He was the son of Colonel Robert Munro Ferguson.¹ He married Lady Helen Hermione Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, daughter of Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 1st Marquess of Dufferin and Ava and Hariot Georgina Rowan-Hamilton, on 31 August 1889.¹ He died on 30 March 1934 at age 74, without issue.¹
     He was commissioned in 1875, in the service of the 1st Fifeshire Light Horse.¹ He was commissioned in 1879, in the service of the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Ross and Cromarty between 1884 and 1885.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in 1886.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Leith Burghs between 1886 and 1914.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs between 1892 and 1894.¹ He held the office of Junior Lord of the Treasury between 1894 and 1895.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1910.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1914.¹ He held the office of Governor-General of Australia between 1914 and 1920.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Novar, of Raith, co. Fife [U.K.] on 6 December 1920.¹ On 6 December 1920 created (1st and last) Viscount Novar.³ He held the office of Secretary of State for Scotland between 1922 and 1924.¹ He was chairman of the Political Honours Commitee in 1925.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Thistle (K.T.) in 1926.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Fife in 1926.¹ On his death, his title became extinct.¹

     Charles Henry Hunt lived at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Harman Hunt was the son of Charles Henry Hunt.¹ He married Joan Louise Burrell, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Merrik Raymond Burrell, 7th Bt. and Wilhelmina Louisa Winans, on 25 June 1947.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He was a chartered surveyor.¹

     Alice Georgina Barnard was born on 27 March 2006 at Cresswell Maternity Wing, Dumfries, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹ She is the daughter of Andrew Barnard and Lady Julia Claire Hope Johnstone.¹

     John Porter Porter was born on 3 April 1855.² He was the son of Nicholas Montgomery Archdale and Adelaide Mary Porter.² He married Josephine Henrietta Lloyd, daughter of Colonel Jesse Lloyd, on 31 January 1884.² He died on 10 August 1939 at age 84.²
     He was given the name of John Porter Archdale at birth.² On 11 May 1876 his name was legally changed to John Porter Porter when he assumed the surname and arms of Porter only in lieu of his patronymic by Royal Licence.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Longford in 1879.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1883.² He lived at Clonbalt, County Longford, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Belle Isle, Lisbellaw, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.²

     Emily Victoria Barnard was born on 24 July 2004 at Bristol, England.² She is the daughter of Andrew Barnard and Lady Julia Claire Hope Johnstone.¹

     Benjamin William Tremayne was born on 31 March 2006.¹ He is the son of Michael W. Tremayne and Rosanna Mary Birkbeck.¹

     Ruaraidh Gunn was born on 18 April 1973.¹ He is the son of Neil Gunn.¹ He married Davina Sacha Bridgeman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Peter Orlando Ronald Bridgeman and Sarah Jane Davina Corbett, after August 2004.¹

     Alice Gunn was born on 11 April 2006 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.¹ She is the daughter of Ruaraidh Gunn and Davina Sacha Bridgeman.¹

     Lara Bulmer was born on 29 August 1995.² She is the daughter of Jonathan Charles Bulmer and Lady Marcia Rose Aileen Leveson-Gower.¹
