     Matilda Humphrys was the daughter of William Humphrys.¹ She married Edward Archdall, son of Colonel Mervyn Archdall and Hon. Mary Dawson, on 2 October 1809.¹ She died on 10 July 1859.¹
     From 2 October 1809, her married name became Archdall.²
