Peerage Record – 1874

     Patrick Hamilton was born circa 1904. He was the son of Walter Bernard Hamilton.¹ He married Lady Ursula Winifred Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, on 10 April 1954.¹ He died on 23 September 1962.¹
     He wrote the book Gaslight.¹ He wrote the book Hanover Square.¹ He was a playwright and novelist.

     Dr. William Leonard James was the son of William Richard James.¹ He married Lady Ursula Winifred Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, on 14 December 1964.¹ He died on 26 August 1966, killed in an air accident, along with his wife.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Edward John Stanley, 6th Baron Sheffield was born on 9 October 1907.¹ He was the son of Arthur Lyulph Stanley, 5th Baron Sheffield and Margaret Evelyn Gordon.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Victoria Audrey Beatrice Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, on 3 March 1932.² He and Lady Victoria Audrey Beatrice Chetwynd-Talbot were divorced in 1936.² He married, secondly, Edith Louisa Sylvia Hawkes, daughter of Arthur Hawkes, on 18 January 1944.¹ He and Edith Louisa Sylvia Hawkes were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, thirdly, Thérèse Husson, daughter of General Edouard Husson, on 6 April 1951.¹ He and Thérèse Husson were divorced in 1957.¹ He married, fourthly, Kathleen Margaret Wright, daughter of Cecil Murray Wright, on 15 September 1961.¹ He died on 3 March 1971 at age 63.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Stanley of Alderley, co. Chester [U.K., 1839] on 22 August 1931.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Sheffield, of Roscommon, co. Roscommon [I., 1783] on 22 August 1931.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Eddisbury of Winnington, co. Chester [U.K., 1848] on 22 August 1931.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Stanley, of Alderley [E., 1660] on 22 August 1931.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Gwyn Rhyse Francis Morris was the son of William John Morris.¹ He married Lady Victoria Audrey Beatrice Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, on 20 December 1945.¹ He died in 1982.¹
     He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹

     W/Cdr. Francis Howard Bickerton was the son of Jones Bickerton.¹ He married Lady Joan Chetwynd-Talbot, daughter of Charles John Alton Chetwynd-Talbot, Viscount Ingestre and Lady Winifred Constance Hester Paget, on 27 May 1937.¹ He died on 21 August 1954.¹
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Isabel le Despenser was the daughter of Hugh le Despenser, 1st and last Earl of Winchester and Isabella de Beauchamp.¹ She married Sir John de Hastings, 1st Lord Hastings, son of Sir Henry de Hastings and Joan de Cauntelo.¹ She died on 4 December 1334.¹

     Janet Elizabeth Marshall was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Herbert John Temple Marshall.¹ She married Hugh Forbes Arbuthnott, son of Donald Stuart Arbuthnott and Anne Elizabeth Brand, on 7 August 1937.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 7 August 1937, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     Anne Talbot was born in 1665.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Talbot and Barbara Slingsby.² She married Sir John Ivory.¹ She died in 1720.¹
     Her married name became Ivory.¹

     Adam Troutbeck is the son of Sir William Troutbeck. He married Joan Molyneux.
