Sir Alexander Ogilvie1
James Grant, 7th of Freuchie1 

James Grant, 7th of Freuchie was born on 24 June 1616.1,3 He was the son of Sir John Grant, 6th of Freuchie and Mary Ogilvy.1 He married Lady Mary Stuart, daughter of James Stuart, 3rd Earl of Moray and Lady Anne Gordon, on 24 April 1640.3 He died in September 1663 at age 47 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,3 He was buried at Holyrood Palace Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.3
He was a Covenanter, and suffered much loss as a result.3
