     Lt.-Col. Hon. Esmé Stuart Erskine was born in 1789.¹ He was the son of Thomas Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Moore.¹ He married Eliza Bland Smith, daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Smith, in 1809.¹ He died on 26 August 1817, at sea.²
     He was Deputy Adjutant-General.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 16 June 1815, where he lost an arm.¹

     Eliza Bland Smith was born in 1795 at Whitehaven, Cumberland, England^G.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Smith.¹ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Hon. Esmé Stuart Erskine, son of Thomas Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Moore, in 1809.¹ She married, secondly, James Norton on 3 November 1819.¹ She died in 1862 at Florence, Italy^G.² She was also reported to have died on 20 September 1855 at Baden-Baden, Germany.³
     From 1809, her married name became Erskine. From 3 November 1819, her married name became Norton.

     Hon. Frances Erskine was the daughter of Thomas Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Moore.¹ She married Rev. Dr. Samuel Holland on 20 June 1802.¹ She died on 25 March 1859.¹
     From 20 June 1802, her married name became Holland.

     Rev. Dr. Samuel Holland married Hon. Frances Erskine, daughter of Thomas Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Moore, on 20 June 1802.¹ He died on 16 April 1857.¹
     He was the Rector at Poynings, Sussex, England^G.¹ He was Precentor and Prebendary of Chichester.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Erskine was the daughter of Thomas Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Moore.¹ She married Sir David Erskine, son of David Steuart Erskine, 11th Earl of Buchan, on 17 November 1798.¹ She died on 2 August 1800.¹
