     Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 2nd Bt. was born in 1636.² He was the son of Sir William Forbes of Craigievar, 1st Bt. and Bethia Murray.² He married Margaret Young, daughter of Peter Young of Auldbar and Isobel Ochterlony of Wester Seton, circa 1659.² He died in 1703.²
     Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 2nd Bt. also went by the nick-name of ‘The Red Sir John’. He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forbes, of Craigievar [N.S., 1630] in 1648.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aberdeenshire [Scotland] in 1689.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aberdeenshire [Scotland] between 1689 and 1702.²

     John Ramsay of Leathers married Mary Forbes, daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Young.¹

     Mary Buchan is the daughter of Major James Buchan, 11th of Auchmacoy and Mary Forbes.¹ She married James Gordon, 1st of Banchory, son of James Gordon, 1st of Ardmealie, on 13 April 1739.¹
     She lived at Auchmacoy, Scotland^G.² From 13 April 1739, her married name became Gordon.¹

     James Gordon, 1st of Banchory was the son of James Gordon, 1st of Ardmealie.¹ He married Mary Buchan, daughter of Major James Buchan, 11th of Auchmacoy and Mary Forbes, on 13 April 1739.¹ He died on 6 February 1751.¹
     He lived at Banchory, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.²

     James Gordon, 1st of Ardmealie is the son of George Gordon, 4th of Cocklarachie.¹

     Peter Flory lived at Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Fergus William Thomas Flory was born in 2001.¹ He is the son of Jonathan P. Flory and Julia Rosemary Erskine.²

     Susanna Catharine Flory was born in 1997.¹ She is the daughter of Jonathan P. Flory and Julia Rosemary Erskine.²
