     Major Robert Nevill Cobbold was born on 10 June 1904 at Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.² He was the son of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill.³ He married Patricia Mary Adela Gibson-Watt, daughter of Major James Miller Gibson-Watt and Marjorie Adela Ricardo, on 24 October 1935.¹ He died in June 1944, killed in action.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Major in the Welsh Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.³

     Patrick A’Hannay of Kirkdale was the son of Patrick A’Hannay of Kirkdale and Anne McKie.^2,3 He married Agnes Dunbar, daughter of Gavin Dunbar of Baldoon and Janet Cunningham.³ He died in 1640.³

     Sir Robert Henry Bruce-Gardner, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 June 1943.¹ He was the son of Sir Douglas Bruce-Gardner, 2nd Bt. and Monica Flummerfelt Jefferson.¹ He married Veronica Ann Hand-Oxborrow, daughter of Reverend W. E. Hand, in 1979.¹ He died on 6 September 2017 at age 74.²
     He was educated at Uppingham, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Reading University, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at London University, London, England^G.¹ He was Director of the Department of Conservation and Technology at Courtauld Institute of Art, The Strand, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bruce-Gardner, of Frilford, Berkshire [U.K., 1945] on 25 November 1997.¹ He lived in 2003 at 121 Brackenbury Road, London, England^G.¹

     Reverend W. E. Hand lived at Caterham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Veronica Ann Hand-Oxborrow is the daughter of Reverend W. E. Hand.¹ She married Sir Robert Henry Bruce-Gardner, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Douglas Bruce-Gardner, 2nd Bt. and Monica Flummerfelt Jefferson, in 1979.¹
     From 1979, her married name became Bruce-Gardner.

     Sir Edmund Thomas Peter Bruce-Gardner, 4th Bt. was born on 28 January 1982.¹ He is the son of Sir Robert Henry Bruce-Gardner, 3rd Bt. and Veronica Ann Hand-Oxborrow.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bruce-Gardner, of Frilford, Berkshire [U.K., 1945] on 6 September 2017.

     Richard Tyndall Jowett Bruce-Gardner was born in 1983.¹ He is the son of Sir Robert Henry Bruce-Gardner, 3rd Bt. and Veronica Ann Hand-Oxborrow.

     Henry Gardner was born on 20 May 1859.¹ He married Florence Arliss, daughter of Walter J. Arliss, on 24 May 1883.¹ He died on 27 April 1941 at age 81.¹
