     Evelyn Mary Amelia Leith was born circa 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Major Thomas Leith and Lady Mary Isabella Dalzell.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Percy Robert Clifton, son of Sir Hervey Juckes Lloyd Bruce, 4th Bt. and Ellen Maud Ricardo, on 27 November 1909.¹ She died on 6 January 1969.¹
     From 27 November 1909, her married name became Bruce. From 1 November 1919, her married name became Clifton.

     Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Clifton was born on 24 January 1911.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Percy Robert Clifton and Evelyn Mary Amelia Leith.¹ He married, firstly, Ursula Sybil Packe, daughter of Sir Edward Hussey Packe and Hon. Mary Sydney Colebrooke, on 2 June 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Mary Adela Gibson-Watt, daughter of Major James Miller Gibson-Watt and Marjorie Adela Ricardo, on 28 April 1948.¹ He died in November 1996 at age 85 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.²
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ His marriage to Ursula Sybil Packe was annulled in 1936.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire between 1952 and 1959.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1954.¹ He was a member of the Gentlemen-at-Arms in 1960.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1964.¹ He was Standard Bearer of the Gentlemen-at-Arms between 1979 and 1981.¹ He lived at Dummer House, Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Susan Bowden was born on 30 November 1812 at Bicester, Oxfordshire, England.¹ She married Reverend Henry Cholwell Cooper, son of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Campbell Cupples, on 26 October 1831 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 12 October 1900 at age 87 at Islington, York County, Ontario, England.¹
     From 26 October 1831, her married name became Cooper.¹

     George Cooper was born illegitimately on 22 December 1813 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Campbell Cupples.¹ He died on 26 February 1835 at age 21 at Huron County, Ontario, Canada^G, unmarried.¹

     Patricia Mary Adela Gibson-Watt was born on 17 March 1915.² She was the daughter of Major James Miller Gibson-Watt and Marjorie Adela Ricardo.¹ She married, firstly, Major Robert Nevill Cobbold, son of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill, on 24 October 1935.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Clifton, son of Lt.-Col. Percy Robert Clifton and Evelyn Mary Amelia Leith, on 28 April 1948.¹ She died on 12 November 2003 at age 88.²
     From 24 October 1935, her married name became Cobbold.¹ From 28 April 1948, her married name became Clifton. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.St.J.)¹

     David Cooper was born illegitimately on 2 November 1816 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Campbell Cupples.¹ He died in 1837 at Huron County, Ontario, Canada^G, unmarried.¹

     Charles William Cooper was born illegitimately on 20 February 1819 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Campbell Cupples.¹ He married Emily Corbier on 5 June 1834 at Kingston, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He died on 15 January 1893 at age 73 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹

     Emily Corbier married Charles William Cooper, son of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Campbell Cupples, on 5 June 1834 at Kingston, Ontario, Canada^G.¹
     From 5 June 1834, her married name became Cooper.¹

     Lt.-Col. Jonathan Lovett Seddon-Brown married Georgina Anne Clifton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Peter Thomas Clifton and Patricia Mary Adela Gibson-Watt, in 1982.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.¹
