     From 3 January 1894, her married name became Ellison.

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Gerald Francis Ellison was the son of Canon unknown Ellison.¹ He married Lilian Amy Bruce, daughter of Colonel Robert Bruce and Mary Caroline Burgoyne, on 3 January 1894.¹ He died on 27 October 1947.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Warwicks Regiment.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Colonel William Thornton married Mary Myster, daughter of John Myster and Elizabeth Diston. He died in 1769.¹
     He fought in the Scottish Rebellion, under the Duke of Cumberland.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York between 1747 and 1754.¹

     Mary Myster was the daughter of John Myster and Elizabeth Diston.^1,2 She married Colonel William Thornton. She died in 1800.¹
     Her married name became Thornton.¹

     Reverend Robert Douglas Bruce was born on 30 March 1867.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lloyd Stewart Bruce and Jane Skene.¹ He married Alice Margaret Lord, daughter of Henry William Lord, on 9 October 1894.¹ He died on 3 September 1944 at age 77.¹
     He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector at St. Anne’s Church, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Henry William Lord was a practising barrister.¹

     Alice Margaret Lord was the daughter of Henry William Lord.¹ She married Reverend Robert Douglas Bruce, son of Reverend Lloyd Stewart Bruce and Jane Skene, on 9 October 1894.¹ She died on 7 April 1955.¹
     From 9 October 1894, her married name became Bruce.

     Robert Lloyd Bruce was born on 18 November 1895.¹ He was the son of Reverend Robert Douglas Bruce and Alice Margaret Lord.¹ He died on 18 November 1916 at age 21, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 11th Battalion Cameronians, Scottish Rifles.¹
