     Robert Needham Cust was born on 24 February 1821.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Henry Cockayne Cust and Lady Anna Maria Elizabeth Needham. He married, firstly, Maria Adelaide Hobart, daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore, on 10 May 1856.¹ He married, secondly, Emma Carlyon, daughter of Reverend Edward Carlyon, on 28 December 1865.¹ He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Dewar Mathews, daughter of J. Mathews, on 11 November 1868.¹ He died on 27 October 1909 at age 88.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.¹

     Mary Wright was the daughter of Richard Wright.¹ She married, firstly, Admiral unknown MacDougal before 1825.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Edmond de Beauvoir, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Edmond Browne, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lorinan, between 1825 and 1826.¹ She died on 11 February 1831.¹
     From before 1825, her married name became MacDougal.¹ From between 1825 and 1826, her married name became de Beauvoir.¹

     Maria Adelaide Hobart was the daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Lewis Hobart and Charlotte Selina Moore.^2,1 She married Robert Needham Cust, son of Rev. Hon. Henry Cockayne Cust and Lady Anna Maria Elizabeth Needham, on 10 May 1856.² She died on 17 January 1864.²
     From 10 May 1856, her married name became Cust.

     Robert Henry Hobart Cust was born on 13 May 1861.¹ He was the son of Robert Needham Cust and Maria Adelaide Hobart.¹ He married Cornelia Octavia Haggerty, daughter of William Henry Haggerty, on 25 October 1906.¹ He died on 19 July 1940 at age 79, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.¹ He fought in the First World War, in the Y.M.C.A.¹ He held the office of Alderman of the Hampstead Borough Council in 1935.¹

     William Henry Haggerty lived at St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Cornelia Octavia Haggerty was the daughter of William Henry Haggerty.¹ She married, firstly, John Roscoe Peacock before 1906.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Henry Hobart Cust, son of Robert Needham Cust and Maria Adelaide Hobart, on 25 October 1906.¹ She died on 4 March 1928.¹
     From before 1906, her married name became Peacock.¹ From 25 October 1906, her married name became Cust.

     Albinia Lucy Cust was born on 18 October 1857.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Needham Cust and Maria Adelaide Hobart.¹ She married Lt.-Col. George Edward Wherry on 2 April 1881.¹ She died on 4 March 1929 at age 71, leaving issue.¹
     From 2 April 1881, her married name became Wherry.

     Lt.-Col. George Edward Wherry married Albinia Lucy Cust, daughter of Robert Needham Cust and Maria Adelaide Hobart, on 2 April 1881.¹
     He was Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Surgery (M.Ch.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹

     Maria Eleanor Vere Cust was born on 30 September 1862.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Needham Cust and Maria Adelaide Hobart.¹ She died on 2 January 1958 at age 95, unmarried.¹
     She was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹
