Sir John Edmond de Beauvoir, 2nd Bt.1 
He was given the name of John Edmond Browne at birth.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 26th Foot.1 On 14 October 1826 his name was legally changed to John Edmond de Beauvoir by Royal Licence.1 He was appointed Knight on 9 March 1827.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor between 1835 and 6 April 1840.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Browne, of Palmerstown, co. Mayo [I., 1797] on 5 September 1835.1
