     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Jacobite foot regiment.¹ In 1670 he was granted his father’s nominated 2,000 acres in County Galway.¹ In 1678 he was granted a further 6,500 acres in County Mayo, including Castlemacgarrett.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Galway in 1688.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Galway in 1689.¹ He lived at Carra Browne, County Galway, Ireland.¹ He lived at Castle Mcgarrett, Claremorris, County Mayo, Ireland.¹

     Andrew Browne is the son of Dominick Browne and Barbara Talbot.^1,2 He married Allinor Kirwan, daughter of Alexander Kirwan.³

     Sir John Edmond de Beauvoir, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 December 1794.¹ He was the son of Sir John Edmond Browne, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lorinan.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Wright, daughter of Richard Wright, between 1825 and 1826.¹ He married, secondly, Laetitia Mann, daughter of Reverend Charles Mann and Susanna MacDougal, on 16 March 1867.¹ He died on 29 April 1869 at age 74 at Upper Gloucester Place, Marylebone, London, England^G, without issue.¹
     He was given the name of John Edmond Browne at birth.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 26th Foot.¹ On 14 October 1826 his name was legally changed to John Edmond de Beauvoir by Royal Licence.¹ He was appointed Knight on 9 March 1827.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor between 1835 and 6 April 1840.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Browne, of Palmerstown, co. Mayo [I., 1797] on 5 September 1835.¹

     Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. was born on 3 April 1926.² He was the son of Sir Michael William Selby Bruce of Stenhouse, 11th Bt. and Doreen Dalziel Greenwell.¹ He married, firstly, Barbara Stevens Lynch, daughter of Francis J. Lynch, on 21 August 1947.² He and Barbara Stevens Lynch were divorced in 1957.² He married, secondly, Frances Keegan in 1961.² He and Frances Keegan were divorced in 1963.² He married, thirdly, Marilyn Ann Mullaly, daughter of Carter Mullaly, in 1966.² He and Marilyn Ann Mullaly were divorced in 1975.² He married, fourthly, Patricia Gail Root, daughter of Frederich Root, in 1991.² He and Patricia Gail Root were divorced before 1994.² He married, fifthly, Alessandra Conforto in 1994.² He died on 28 February 2021 at age 94 at Long Beach, California, U.S.A.³
     Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Michael.² He was educated at Forman School, Litchfield, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.² He fought in the Second World War, in the U.S. Marine amphibious forces.² He was a partner of Gossard-Bruce Company in 1953.² He was owner of the American Maritime Company, and The Eye Witness (a legal photograph service) in 1956.² He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Bruce, of Stenhouse [N.S., 1628] on 20 May 1957.¹ He was registered as a Master Mariner in 1968.² He lived in 2003 at 34 Cormorant Circle, Newport Beach, California, U.S.A.^G.²

     Barbara Stevens Lynch is the daughter of Francis J. Lynch.¹ She married Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt., son of Sir Michael William Selby Bruce of Stenhouse, 11th Bt. and Doreen Dalziel Greenwell, on 21 August 1947.¹ She and Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. were divorced in 1957.¹
     From 21 August 1947, her married name became Bruce.¹

     Michael Ian Richard Bruce of Stenhouse, younger was born on 10 December 1950.¹ He is the son of Sir Francis Michael Ian Bruce of Stenhouse, 12th Bt. and Barbara Stevens Lynch.¹
