     Robert Soame Jocelyn, 8th Earl of Roden was born on 8 September 1883.² He was the son of Robert Julian Orde Jocelyn, 7th Earl of Roden and Ada Maria Jenyns.³ He married Elinor Jessie Parr, daughter of Joseph Charlton Parr and Jessie Maria Lister-Kaye, on 19 July 1905.³ He died on 30 October 1956 at age 73.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the NI Horse.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.² He fought in the First World War.² He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Roden, of High Roding, co. Tipperary [I., 1771] on 18 December 1915.³ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Newport of Newport, co. Tipperary [I., 1743] on 18 December 1915.³ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Jocelyn [I., 1755] on 18 December 1915.³ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Jocelyn, of Hyde Hall, co. Herts [E., 1665] on 18 December 1915.³ He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland].²

     Piers Leighton Brooke was born on 29 December 1940.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Neville Brooke, 10th Bt. and Lady Mabel Kathleen Jocelyn.¹ He married Susan Wheeler Davenport, daughter of John Davenport, on 15 July 1967.¹ He died on 24 April 2014 at age 73.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He was a regional director for Chase Manhattan Bank between 1978 and 1979.¹ He was an executive director of Lloyds Bank International between 1982 and 1985.¹ He was managing director of Lloyds Merchant Bank between 1985 and 1988.¹ He lived in 2003 at Flat 4, 44 Ennismore Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Susan Wheeler Davenport is the daughter of John Davenport.¹ She married Piers Leighton Brooke, son of Sir Richard Neville Brooke, 10th Bt. and Lady Mabel Kathleen Jocelyn, on 15 July 1967.¹
     From 15 July 1967, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Sebastian Piers Brooke was born on 5 November 1974.¹ He is the son of Piers Leighton Brooke and Susan Wheeler Davenport.¹

     Arabella Elinor Brooke was born on 14 September 1973.¹ She is the daughter of Piers Leighton Brooke and Susan Wheeler Davenport.¹

     Jean Evison Corfe was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Cecil Corfe.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Nicholas John Alexander Cheetham, son of Sir Joshua Milne Crompton Cheetham and Anastasia Muravieff, in 1936.^1,2 She and Sir Nicholas John Alexander Cheetham were divorced.² She married, secondly, Sir Richard Neville Brooke, 10th Bt., son of Sir Richard Christopher Brooke, 9th Bt. and Marion Dorothea Innes-Cross, on 26 April 1960.¹ She died on 7 May 2003.¹
     From before 1960, her married name became Cheetham.¹ From 26 April 1960, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Cecil Corfe was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Sir Nicholas John Alexander Cheetham was born on 8 October 1910.² He was the son of Sir Joshua Milne Crompton Cheetham and Anastasia Muravieff.³ He married, firstly, Jean Evison Corfe, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Cecil Corfe, in 1936.^1,2 He and Jean Evison Corfe were divorced.² He married, secondly, Lady Mabel Kathleen Jocelyn, daughter of Robert Soame Jocelyn, 8th Earl of Roden and Elinor Jessie Parr, on 17 June 1960.^2,4 He died in 2002.²

     Sir George Frederick Brooke, 1st Bt. was born on 13 August 1849.¹ He was the son of Francis Richard Brooke and Hon. Henrietta Monck.¹ He married, firstly, Anna Maria Shakerley, daughter of Geoffrey Joseph Shakerley and Eleanor Maria Webster, on 4 April 1875.¹ He married, secondly, Emily Alma Barton, daughter of Augustine Hugh Barton and Emily Anne Martin, on 21 April 1881.² He died on 21 August 1926 at age 77.¹
