     Duncan Calder Coupland was born circa 1868 at Forest Gate, Essex, England.¹ He was the son of John Coupland and Louisa Alice Frances Calder.¹ He was baptised on 28 April 1868 at St. Philip, Kensington, London, England.¹ He married Helen Ethel Corbet, daughter of Reverend Athelstan Corbet and Julia Helen Croft, on 8 July 1899 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died in June 1940 at Canterbury, Kent, England.¹

     Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. was born on 25 July 1838.¹ He was the son of Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th Bt. and Julia Barbara Garstin.¹ He married Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, daughter of Matthew Henry Marsh and Elizabeth Mary Merewether, on 10 January 1865.¹ He died on 11 February 1902 at age 63.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Herefordshire Militia.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Croft, of Croft Castle, co. Hereford [E., 1671] on 10 January 1865.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1868 and 1874.¹ He was Inspector of the Constabulary, North of England between 1892 and 1902.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.¹

     Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh was born on 9 April 1845 at Australia.² She was the daughter of Matthew Henry Marsh and Elizabeth Mary Merewether.¹ She married Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt., son of Sir Archer Denman Croft, 8th Bt. and Julia Barbara Garstin, on 10 January 1865.¹ She died on 7 July 1925 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Croft.

     Reverend Matthew Marsh married Margaret Brodie.¹
     He held the office of Canon of Salisbury.¹

     Sir Herbert Archer Croft, 10th Bt. was born on 5 September 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh.¹ He married, firstly, Kathleen Hare, daughter of John Hare, on 20 June 1892.¹ He married, secondly, Katharine Agnes Parr, daughter of Joseph Charlton Parr and Jessie Maria Lister-Kaye, on 3 February 1903.¹ He died circa 11 August 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey^G, missing, presumed killed in action.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Croft, of Croft Castle, co. Hereford [E., 1671] on 11 February 1902.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Herefordshire in 1911.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion Herefordshire Regiment.¹

     Kathleen Hare was the daughter of John Hare.¹ She married Sir Herbert Archer Croft, 10th Bt., son of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 20 June 1892.¹ She died on 25 September 1898.¹
     Her married name became Croft.

     John Hare lived at Invercargill, New Zealand^G.¹

     Katharine Agnes Parr was born on 17 January 1878 at Grappenhall, Warrington, Cheshire, England.² She was the daughter of Joseph Charlton Parr and Jessie Maria Lister-Kaye.¹ She married Sir Herbert Archer Croft, 10th Bt., son of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 3 February 1903.¹ She died on 30 November 1966 at age 88 at Hereford, Herefordshire, England.^1,2
     Her married name became Croft.

     Joseph Charlton Parr was born in 1837.² He is the son of Thoma Parr.³ He married Jessie Maria Lister-Kaye, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Lister Lister-Kaye and Louisa Jessie Dowker, on 6 February 1872.⁴ He died in 1920.⁴
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He lived at Grappenhall Heyes, Warrington, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³ He held the office of Mayor of Warrington between 1901 and 1903.²

     Sir James Herbert Croft, 11th Bt. was born on 24 May 1907.¹ He was the son of Sir Herbert Archer Croft, 10th Bt. and Katharine Agnes Parr.¹ He died on 15 August 1941 at age 34, killed on active service.¹
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Croft, of Croft Castle, co. Hereford [E., 1671] on 11 August 1915.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Herefordshire Regiment (Territorial Army), attached to No. 1 Commando Special Service Battalion.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹
