Hon. Algernon Gray Tollemache1 
He was also known as Algernon Gray Talmash.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham in 1832.2 He emigrated to New ZealandG arriving on 1850 and subsequently made thousands of pounds buying and selling land in Wellington, Masterton, Nelson and Hastings.1

Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton1 

Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton was born on 15 February 1874 at Kilkea House, County Kildare, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Henry Shackleton and Henrietta Letitia Sophia Gavan.1 He married Emily Mary Dorman, daughter of Charles Dorman, on 9 April 1904 at Westminster, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 5 January 1922 at age 47 at South Georgia IslandG.1 He was buried at Grytviken, South Georgia IslandG.1
He was educated at Dulwich College Prep School, Dulwich, Surrey, EnglandG.3 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1907.3 In 1907 he commanded the British Antarctic Expedition.3 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1909.3 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1909.3 Between 1913 and 1914 he lead the Shackleton Expedition to Antartica, and lead it to rescue after being trapped on the ice through a winter.1 In 1914 he commanded the British Antarctic Expedition.3 He was Director of Equipment and Transport Mobile FOreces in North Russia between 1918 and 1919.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.3 In 1921 he commanded the British Oceanographical and Sub-Antarctic Expedition.3
