     Elizabeth Brooke was the daughter of Sir Henry Brooke and Anne St. George.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne, son of Sir Frederick Hamilton and Sidney Vaughan. She died on 28 December 1721 at Stackallan, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.¹ After her marriage, Elizabeth Brooke was styled as Baroness Hamilton of Stackallan on 20 October 1715. After her marriage, Elizabeth Brooke was styled as Viscountess Boyne on 20 August 1717.

     Sir Henry Brooke was the son of Sir Basil Brooke and Anne Leycester.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Wynter, daughter of Captain John Wynter.² He married, secondly, Hon. Elizabeth Dockwra, daughter of Henry Dockwra, 1st Lord Dockwra, Baron of Culmore and Anne Vaughan.² He married, thirdly, Anne St. George, daughter of Sir George St. George, Bt., in 1652. He died in 1671.²
     He was granted land at Brookeborough, County Donegal, for his services during the Uprising of 1641.² He held the office of Governor of County Donegal.² He was appointed Knight in 1664.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1669.² He lived at Brooke Borough, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Brooke’s Borough, County Fermanagh.³

     Anne St. George was the daughter of Sir George St. George, Bt.¹ She married Sir Henry Brooke, son of Sir Basil Brooke and Anne Leycester, in 1652. She died in 1685.²
     From 1652, her married name became Brooke.²

     Hon. Frederick Hamilton was the son of Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne and Elizabeth Brooke.¹ He married Sophia Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, on 1 September 1707.² He died on 10 December 1715.¹

     Sophia Hamilton was the daughter of James Hamilton.¹ She married Hon. Frederick Hamilton, son of Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne and Elizabeth Brooke, on 1 September 1707.² She died on 6 May 1748.²

     James Hamilton was the son of William Hamilton and Ellen Magennis.² He married Hon. Anne Mordaunt, daughter of John Mordaunt, 1st Viscount Mordaunt of Avalon and Elizabeth Carey.³
     He lived at Tollymore, County Down, Ireland^G.³

     Gustavus Hamilton, 2nd Viscount Boyne was born in 1710.¹ He was the son of Hon. Frederick Hamilton and Sophia Hamilton.¹ He died on 20 April 1746, unmarried.¹ He was buried at Stackallan, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Boyne, in the province of Leinster [I., 1717] on 16 September 1723.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Hamilton of Stackallan [I., 1715] on 16 September 1723.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Newport, Isle of Wight between 1736 and 1741.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 9 August 1736.¹ He held the office of Commissioner of the Revenue [Ireland] between 1737 and 1746.¹ His last will was dated 5 April 1746.¹

     Hon. Gustavus Hamilton was the son of Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne and Elizabeth Brooke.¹ He married Hon. Dorothea Bellew, daughter of Richard Bellew, 3rd Baron Bellew of Duleek, in January 1717.² He died on 26 February 1733/34.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Donegal [Ireland].² He lived at Redwood, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹

     Hon. Dorothea Bellew is the daughter of Richard Bellew, 3rd Baron Bellew of Duleek.¹ She married, secondly, David Dickson.² She married, firstly, Hon. Gustavus Hamilton, son of Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Hamilton, 1st Viscount Boyne and Elizabeth Brooke, in January 1717.²
     Her married name became Dickson.² From January 1717, her married name became Hamilton.¹

     Frederick Hamilton, 3rd Viscount Boyne was baptised on 9 November 1718.¹ He was the son of Hon. Gustavus Hamilton and Hon. Dorothea Bellew.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hadley, daughter of Benjamin Hadley, on 25 August 1737 at Chapelizod, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in a private marriage. The validity of this marriage was never proved, and he sought to have it set aside.¹ He married, secondly, Bridget Mooney, daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Mooney, in July 1746. This marriage was during the lifetime of his first wife.¹ He died on 2 January 1772 at age 53 at Drumcondra, County Dublin, Ireland^G, without legitimate issue.¹ He was buried at St. Paul’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Boyne, in the province of Leinster [I., 1717] on 20 April 1746.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hamilton of Stackallan [I., 1715] on 20 April 1746.¹
