     From 29 September 1990, her married name became Martin.¹

     Giles Henry Matthew Martin married Patricia Mary Hemsley, daughter of Henry Neville Hemsley and Margaret Ruth Borthwick, on 29 September 1990.¹

     Christopher Giles Martin was born in 1994.¹ He is the son of Giles Henry Matthew Martin and Patricia Mary Hemsley.¹

     Hon. Malcolm Algernon Borthwick was born on 27 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Borthwick, 1st Bt. and Letitia Mary Banks.¹ He married Blanche Buckland Gorrie, daughter of Henry Thomson Gorrie, on 9 March 1905.¹ He died on 27 May 1941 at age 60.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards (Special Reserve.)¹ On 8 February 1913 he was granted the rank of a baron’s son.¹

     Blanche Buckland Gorrie was born circa 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Thomson Gorrie.¹ She married Hon. Malcolm Algernon Borthwick, son of Sir Thomas Borthwick, 1st Bt. and Letitia Mary Banks, on 9 March 1905.¹ She died on 10 March 1965.¹
     From 9 March 1905, her married name became Borthwick.¹

     Henry Thomson Gorrie lived at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Algernon Malcolm Borthwick was born on 22 March 1907.¹ He was the son of Hon. Malcolm Algernon Borthwick and Blanche Buckland Gorrie.¹ He married Edith Wylde Addison, daughter of James Stanley Addison, on 20 February 1935.¹ He died on 6 January 1975 at age 67, killed in a motor accident caused by gales.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1927 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1934 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the London Scottish Gordon Highlanders.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Edith Wylde Addison was the daughter of James Stanley Addison.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Algernon Malcolm Borthwick, son of Hon. Malcolm Algernon Borthwick and Blanche Buckland Gorrie, on 20 February 1935.¹ She died on 6 January 1975, killed in a motor accident caused by gales.¹
     From 20 February 1935, her married name became Borthwick.¹
