     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade, attached to the Middlesex Regiment.¹

     Henry Neville Hemsley is the son of Neville Hemsley.¹ He married Margaret Ruth Borthwick, daughter of Hon. William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby, on 26 February 1949.¹

     John Neville Hemsley was born on 23 February 1956.¹ He is the son of Henry Neville Hemsley and Margaret Ruth Borthwick.¹ He married, firstly, Nicole Irene Walter, daughter of Rudolph Hams Walter, on 2 June 1984.¹ He married, secondly, Sandra Irene Krüsi, daughter of Heinz Krüsi and Ruth Keller, on 21 July 2007.²

     Nicole Irene Walter is the daughter of Rudolph Hams Walter.¹ She married John Neville Hemsley, son of Henry Neville Hemsley and Margaret Ruth Borthwick, on 2 June 1984.¹
     From 2 June 1984, her married name became Hemsley.¹

     William Jason Maxwell Borthwick was born on 1 November 1910.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby.¹ He married Elizabeth Cleveland Elworthy, daughter of Herbert Elworthy, on 26 July 1937.¹ He died on 15 January 1998 at age 87.¹
     William Jason Maxwell Borthwick usually went by his middle name of Jason.¹ He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1933 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹

     Elizabeth Cleveland Elworthy was the daughter of Herbert Elworthy.¹ She married William Jason Maxwell Borthwick, son of Hon. William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby, on 26 July 1937.¹ She died on 28 January 1978.¹
     From 26 July 1937, her married name became Borthwick.¹

     Herbert Elworthy lived at Timaru, New Zealand^G.¹

     Alister Jason Borthwick was born on 23 July 1945.¹ He was the son of William Jason Maxwell Borthwick and Elizabeth Cleveland Elworthy.¹ He married Verily Anne East, daughter of Albert Augur East, on 15 August 1970.¹ He died on 13 September 2019 at age 74.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Deepdale Farm, Burnham Deepdale, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Verily Anne East is the daughter of Albert Augur East.¹ She married Alister Jason Borthwick, son of William Jason Maxwell Borthwick and Elizabeth Cleveland Elworthy, on 15 August 1970.¹
     From 15 August 1970, her married name became Borthwick.¹
