     Reverend Ossory Medlicott married Margaret Bradestan, daughter of John Bradestan.¹

     Anne Sherrard married John Henry Pakenham, son of George Edward Pakenham and Frances Voquel.¹
     Her married name became Pakenham.¹

     Harriet Susannah Gaussen was baptised on 25 January 1795.² She was the daughter of Samuel Robert Gaussen.¹ She married James Best, son of Thomas Best and Elizabeth Irwin, on 23 September 1817 at Boxley, Kent, England.^1,2 She died on 21 January 1875 at age 79.¹
     From 23 September 1817, her married name became Best.¹

     Samuel Robert Gaussen was born on 27 February 1759.² He was the son of Peter Gaussen and Anna Maria Bosanquet. He married Elizabeth Bosanquet, daughter of Samuel Robert Gaussen, on 26 July 1783.² He died on 14 August 1812 at age 53.²
     He was director of The South Sea Company between 1782 and 1812.² He held the office of Sheriff of Hertfordshire between 1790 and 1791.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Warick between 1796 and 1802.² He lived at Brookman’s Park, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     James Best was born on 27 October 1822.¹ He was the son of James Best and Harriet Susannah Gaussen.¹ He died on 10 June 1845 at age 22.¹

     Mawdistly Gaussen Best was born on 23 August 1826.¹ He was the son of James Best and Harriet Susannah Gaussen.¹ He married Katherine Annabella Brockman, daughter of Reverend Tatton Brockman, on 14 April 1864.¹ He died on 14 July 1906 at age 79, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 34th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Siege of Sebastopol.¹ He fought in the assault on Redan.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny in 1857.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Major.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent in 1881.¹ He lived at Park House, Boxley, Kent, England^G.¹

     Katherine Annabella Brockman was the daughter of Reverend Tatton Brockman.¹ She married Mawdistly Gaussen Best, son of James Best and Harriet Susannah Gaussen, on 14 April 1864.¹ She died on 18 June 1896.¹
     From 14 April 1864, her married name became Best.¹

     Reverend Tatton Brockman was born in 1792.² He married Louisa Hawley, daughter of Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt. and Anne Humphreys, in 1825.³
     He was the Rector at Otham, Kent, England^G.³ He was the Curate at Frant, Kent, England^G.³ He lived at Beachborough, Kent, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³
