     Lt.-Col. Archibald Hamilton Campbell was born on 17 December 1823.¹ He was the son of Colin Campbell, 1st of Colgrain and Janet Miller Hamilton.² He married Mary Agnes Maitland-Kirwan, daughter of Charles Lionel Maitland-Kirwan, on 25 June 1868.¹ He died in March 1897 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Charles Lionel Maitland-Kirwan lived at Gelston Castle, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Dalgin Park, County Mayo, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Agnes Maitland-Kirwan is the daughter of Charles Lionel Maitland-Kirwan.² She married Lt.-Col. Archibald Hamilton Campbell, son of Colin Campbell, 1st of Colgrain and Janet Miller Hamilton, on 25 June 1868.¹
     From 25 June 1868, her married name became Campbell.

     Thomas Campbell was born on 2 March 1825.¹ He was the son of Colin Campbell, 1st of Colgrain and Janet Miller Hamilton.² He married, firstly, Mary Campbell, daughter of Colonel unknown Campbell of Possil, in September 1851.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Caroline Vansittart, daughter of Colonel Robert Vansittart and Elizabeth Harriet Fleming, on 14 January 1869.¹
     He was married 2nd Katherine Caroline, eldest daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Vansittart (see 1956 edn VANSITTART, B), of The Chuffs, nr Maidenhead, and by her had, with other issue: on 14 January 1869.¹

     Mary Campbell was the daughter of Colonel unknown Campbell of Possil.² She married Thomas Campbell, son of Colin Campbell, 1st of Colgrain and Janet Miller Hamilton, in September 1851.¹ She died in August 1852.¹
     From September 1851, her married name became Campbell.

     Frances Julia Peters was born circa 1805.² She was the daughter of Henry Peters.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Felix Thomas Talmash, son of Sir William Talmash, Lord Huntingtower and Catherine Rebecca Gray, on 27 April 1833 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.³ She married, secondly, Admiral John Pakenham, son of Admiral Hon. Sir Thomas Pakenham and Louisa Anne Staples, on 8 May 1845.¹ She died on 26 July 1894 at Cannes, France^G.¹
     From 27 April 1833, her married name became Talmash.³ From 8 May 1845, her married name became Pakenham.¹

     Marjorie Jane Smith was born on 14 April 1883 at Bramcote Hall, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Frederic Chatfield Smith and Harriet Mathilda Pym.^2,3 She married Arthur Vansittart Campbell, son of Thomas Campbell and Catherine Caroline Vansittart, on 4 July 1905.¹ She died in 1976 at Sheringham, Norfolk, England^G.²
     From 1905, her married name became Campbell.² From 4 July 1905, her married name became Campbell.

     Nigel Arthur Campbell was born on 25 December 1906.¹ He is the son of Arthur Vansittart Campbell and Marjorie Jane Smith.² He married Philippa Janet de Smidt, daughter of Leonard Ferdinand de Smidt, on 30 April 1938.¹
