He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 15 March 1849.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Shaw, of the city of London [E., 1665] on 17 March 1857.1 He lived at Kenward, Kent, EnglandG.1
