     Henry Hawley was born in 1703.¹ He was the son of James Hawley and Dorothy Musgrave.¹ He died in 1756, without issue.¹

     Dorothy Musgrave was the daughter of Sir Christopher Musgrave, 4th Bt. and Mary Cogan.² She married James Hawley, son of Henry Hawley and Alice Curtis.¹ She died in 1729.¹
     Her married name became Hawley.

     James Hawley was born on 2 March 1705/6.¹ He was the son of James Hawley and Dorothy Musgrave.² He married Elizabeth Banks, daughter of Joseph Banks, on 8 November 1744.¹ He died on 22 December 1777 at age 71.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He lived at Leybourne Grange, Kent, England^G.¹

     Joseph Banks lived at Revesby Abbey, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Banks was the daughter of Joseph Banks.² She married James Hawley, son of James Hawley and Dorothy Musgrave, on 8 November 1744.¹ She died on 27 November 1766.¹
     From 8 November 1744, her married name became Hawley.

     Richard Fairfax married Anastatia Carthorpe, daughter of John Carthorpe, circa 1401.²
     He lived at Walton, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Sir Guy Fairfax was born circa 1405.² He was the son of Richard Fairfax and Anastatia Carthorpe.¹ He married Isabel Ryther, daughter of Sir Robert Ryther.¹ He died in 1495.¹
     He lived at Steeton Castle, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Judge of the King’s Bench in 1477.¹

     Harriott Hawley was the daughter of Sir Henry Hawley, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Ashwood.² She died in November 1842.¹
