     Gillion Gaspard Alfred de Grimaud, Comte d’Orsay was born on 4 September 1801.^1,3 He was the son of Jean-François Marie Albert Grimaud, Comte d’Orsay and Baronne Eleanore de Franquemont.³ He married Lady Harriett Anne Janes Frances Gardiner, daughter of Charles John Gardiner, 1st and last Earl of Blessington and Mary Campbell Macdougall, on 1 December 1827 at Naples, Italy^G.¹ He and Lady Harriett Anne Janes Frances Gardiner were separated circa March 1828.¹ He died on 4 August 1852 at age 50 at Paris, France^G.¹ He was buried at Chambourcy, near St. Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France^G.¹
     Gillion Gaspard Alfred de Grimaud, Comte d’Orsay usually went by his middle name of Alfred.³ He gained the title of Comte d’Orsay.³ He was an artist and ‘man of fashion.¹‘

     Margaret Power was born on 1 September 1789 at Knockbrit, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.³ She was the daughter of Edmund Power and Ellen Sheehy.¹ She married, firstly, Maurice St. Leger Farmer before 1817.² She married, secondly, Charles John Gardiner, 1st and last Earl of Blessington, son of Luke Gardiner, 1st Viscount Mountjoy and Elizabeth Montgomery, on 16 February 1818 at St. Mary’s Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She died on 4 June 1849 at age 59 at rue du Circle, Champs Elysées, Paris, France^G, from apoplexy, without issue.³ She was buried at Chambourcy, near St. Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France^G.³ She died intestate and her estate was administered in August 1849.³
     From before 1817, her married name became Farmer.² She lived between 1818 and 1822 at 11 St. James’s Square, St. James’s, London, England^G.³ From 16 February 1818, her married name became Gardiner.¹ After her marriage, Margaret Power was styled as Countess of Blessington on 16 February 1818. She lived between 1831 and 1835 at Seamore Place, Mayfair, London, England^G.³ She wrote the book Confessions of an Elderly Gentleman, published 1836.³ She lived between 1836 and 1849 at Gore House, Kensington, London, England^G.³ She wrote the book The Idler in Italy, published between 1839 and 1840, in three volumes.³ She wrote the book The Idler in France, published 1841.³ On 10 May 1849 she held an auction of some of her effects which raised £12,000 towards her debts.³ She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     Thomas Henry Becher was baptised on 28 December 1756 at Southwell St. Mary Minster, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Richard Turner Becher and Anne Harding.¹ He died in 1757.¹

     Ellen Sheehy is the daughter of Edmund Sheehy.¹

     Luke Wellington Gardiner, Viscount Mountjoy was born on 11 September 1813.¹ He was the son of Charles John Gardiner, 1st and last Earl of Blessington and Mary Campbell Macdougall.¹ He died on 26 March 1823 at age 9 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, unmarried.¹
     He was styled as Viscount Mountjoy between 1816 and 1823.¹

     John Bloomfield was the son of Benjamin Bloomfield.² He married Anne Charlotte Waller, daughter of Samuel Waller and Anne Jocelyn, circa 18 January 1765.³
     He lived at Newport, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹

     Anne Charlotte Waller was the daughter of Samuel Waller and Anne Jocelyn.^1,2 She married John Bloomfield, son of Benjamin Bloomfield, circa 18 January 1765.² She died on 1 February 1828.³
     Anne Charlotte Waller usually went by her middle name of Charlotte.⁴ From circa 18 January 1765, her married name became Bloomfield.²

     Samuel Waller was born in 1705.² He was the son of William Waller and Blanche Weeks.² He married Anne Jocelyn, daughter of Thomas Jocelyn and Anne Bray, on 20 June 1730.³ He died on 1 May 1762.²
     He was a barrister.¹ He lived at Newport, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.²

     Sir Robert Waller, 1st Bt. was the son of Samuel Waller and Anne Jocelyn.^1,2 He married Catherine Moore, daughter of Reverend Charles Moore, on 3 April 1766.³ He died in August 1780.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dundalk between 1761 and 1780.⁴ He was Commissioner of Revenue.³ He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1774 with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)³ He was created 1st Baronet Waller, of Newport, co. Tipperary [Ireland] on 1 June 1780.³
