Hon. Augusta Byron was born in 1782.1,3 She was the daughter of Captain John Byron and Lady Amelia Darcy.3 She married Lt.-Col. George Leigh, son of General Charles Leigh, on 17 August 1807.1 She died on 18 October 1851.1
Her married name became Leigh. She held the office of Women of the Bedchamber to Queen Charlotte.3
