     Colonel John Henry Ellis Ridley was born on 10 December 1816.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry John Ridley and Elizabeth Margaret Antoinette Ellis.¹ He married Anna Maria Brooke, daughter of Reverend J. M. Brooke, on 25 April 1848.¹ He died in 1892.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Dragoon Guards.¹ He lived at Torquay, Devon, England.²

     Anna Maria Brooke was the daughter of Reverend J. M. Brooke.¹ She married Colonel John Henry Ellis Ridley, son of Reverend Henry John Ridley and Elizabeth Margaret Antoinette Ellis, on 25 April 1848.¹ She died in 1910.¹
     From 25 April 1848, her married name became Ridley.¹

     Margaret Jane Barkley was the daughter of G. A. Barkley.¹ She married Holt Waring Ridley, son of Colonel John Henry Ellis Ridley and Anna Maria Brooke, in 1892.¹ She died on 27 May 1928.¹
     From 1892, her married name became Ridley.¹

     G. A. Barkley lived at Chelsea, London, England.¹

     Charles Parker Ridley was born on 12 May 1855.¹ He was the son of Colonel John Henry Ellis Ridley and Anna Maria Brooke.¹ He married Edyth Hamilton Cole, daughter of George Beauchamp Cole, on 14 August 1879.¹ He died on 9 February 1937 at age 81.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Manchester Regiment.¹ He fought in the Miranzai Expedition.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.¹

     Edyth Hamilton Cole was the daughter of George Beauchamp Cole.¹ She married Charles Parker Ridley, son of Colonel John Henry Ellis Ridley and Anna Maria Brooke, on 14 August 1879.¹ She died on 11 July 1928.¹
     From 14 August 1879, her married name became Ridley.¹

     Mary Brenda Madeline Cole is the daughter of George Beauchamp Cole. She married Edward Robert Gregge-Hopwood, son of Edward John Gregge-Hopwood.
     Her married name became Gregge-Hopwood.

     Iris Brooke Ridley is the daughter of Charles Parker Ridley and Edyth Hamilton Cole.¹ She married Geoffrey Lowndes Wright, son of Henry Lowndes Wright, on 4 February 1911.¹
     From 4 February 1911, her married name became Wright.¹

     Geoffrey Lowndes Wright is the son of Henry Lowndes Wright.¹ He married Iris Brooke Ridley, daughter of Charles Parker Ridley and Edyth Hamilton Cole, on 4 February 1911.¹
