     Vice-Admiral James William Rivett-Carnac was born on 12 February 1891.² He was the son of Rev. Sir Clennel George Rivett-Carnac, 6th Bt. and Emily Louisa Crabbe.^2,3 He married Isla Nesta Blackwood, daughter of Harry Officer Blackwood, on 20 April 1922.² He died on 9 October 1970 at age 79.²
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)⁴ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.² He was Commodore of the New Zealand Squadron.² He was commander of the H.M.S. Rodney between 1941 and 1943.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1944.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.² He was Vice-Admiral (Q) of the British Pacific Fleet in 1945.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1945.² He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk in 1958.² He lived at Fornham House, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     James Harry Scarlett, 9th Baron Abinger was born on 28 May 1959.¹ He is the son of James Richard Scarlett, 8th Baron Abinger and Isla Carolyn Rivett-Carnac.¹ He married Tracy Cloutier, daughter of Normand Cloutier, on 19 August 1995.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)² He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society of the Imperial College (F.L.S.)² He lived in 1999 at 16 Thorncliffe Road, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron Abinger, of Abinger, Surrey and of the city of Norwich [U.K., 1835] on 23 September 2002.³

     Thomas Amherst was born after 1468.² He was the son of Thomas Amherst.² He married unknown daughter Bownregge, daughter of unknown Bownregge.²
     He lived at Amherst, Pembury, Kent, England^G.²

     unknown Wright married Elizabeth Anglin, daughter of Philip Anglin and Mary Lawrence, before 1765.¹ He died before 1765.¹

     Mary Lawrence was the daughter of John Lawrence.¹ She married Philip Anglin.¹

     Tracy Cloutier is the daughter of Normand Cloutier.¹ She married James Harry Scarlett, 9th Baron Abinger, son of James Richard Scarlett, 8th Baron Abinger and Isla Carolyn Rivett-Carnac, on 19 August 1995.¹
     From 19 August 1995, her married name became Scarlett.¹ After her marriage, Tracy Cloutier was styled as Baroness Abinger on 23 September 2002.

     Hon. Peter Richard Scarlett was born on 21 March 1961.¹ He was the son of James Richard Scarlett, 8th Baron Abinger and Isla Carolyn Rivett-Carnac.¹ He married Sharon Elizabeth Turl, daughter of Derek Turl, on 15 August 1992.¹ He died on 24 December 2020 at age 59.²
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He lived in 1999 at 33 Dagmar Road, London, England^G.¹

     Sharon Elizabeth Turl is the daughter of Derek Turl.¹ She married Hon. Peter Richard Scarlett, son of James Richard Scarlett, 8th Baron Abinger and Isla Carolyn Rivett-Carnac, on 15 August 1992.¹
     From 15 August 1992, her married name became Scarlett.¹
