     Henry Vansittart was born on 3 June 1732.³ He was the son of Arthur Vansittart and Martha Stonhouse.³ He married Amelia Morse, daughter of Nicholas Morse, on 1 June 1754.³ He died in January 1770 at age 37, lost with all hands on board Aurora, while on the way to Bengal.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He held the office of Governor of Bengal between 1760 and 1764.¹ He lived at Foxley, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was a director of the Honourable East India Company in 1769.³

     Amelia Morse was the daughter of Nicholas Morse.¹ She married Henry Vansittart, son of Arthur Vansittart and Martha Stonhouse, on 1 June 1754.² She died on 2 August 1819.²
     From 1 June 1754, her married name became Vansittart.²

     Nicholas Morse lived Governor of Madras.¹

     Hon. Catharine Isabella Eden was born on 20 September 1778.¹ She was the daughter of William Eden, 1st Baron Auckland and Eleanor Elliot.¹ She married Nicholas Vansittart, 1st and last Baron Bexley, son of Henry Vansittart and Amelia Morse, on 22 July 1806.¹ She died on 10 August 1810 at age 31.¹
     From 22 July 1806, her married name became Vansittart.¹

     Robert Benson, 1st and last Baron of Bingley was born circa 1676.¹ He was the son of Robert Benson and Dorothy Jenkins.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Finch, daughter of Heneage Finch, 1st Earl of Aylesford and Elizabeth Banks, on 21 December 1703 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ He died on 9 April 1731, without male issue.¹ He was buried on 14 April 1731 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ His will (dated 27 June 1729 to 9 March 1729/30) was proven (by probate) on 13 April 1731.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Thetford between 1702 and 1705.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of York between 1705 and 1713.¹ He was Commissioner of the Treasury from August 1710 to 1711.¹ He was a director of the South Seas Company from 1711 to 1715.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 14 June 1711.¹ He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer from 14 June 1711 to 1713.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Spain from 1713 to 1714.¹ He was created 1st Baron of Bingley, co. York [Great Britain] on 21 July 1713.¹ He received a grant of Branham Moor, Yorkshire from the Crown, where he erected a stately mansion.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of the Household to King George II from 1730 to 1731.¹
     On his death, his peerage became extinct.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³

     Lady Elizabeth Finch was born circa 1679.¹ She was the daughter of Heneage Finch, 1st Earl of Aylesford and Elizabeth Banks.¹ She married Robert Benson, 1st and last Baron of Bingley, son of Robert Benson and Dorothy Jenkins, on 21 December 1703 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ She died on 26 February 1757.¹ She was buried on 11 March 1757 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 26 March 1757.¹
     From 21 December 1703, her married name became Benson.¹ After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Finch was styled as Baroness of Bingley on 21 July 1713. Her last will was dated 25 July 1737.

     George Fox-Lane, 1st and last Baron Bingley was born circa 1697.¹ He was the son of Henry Fox and Hon. Frances Lane.¹ He married Hon. Harriet Benson, daughter of Robert Benson, 1st and last Baron of Bingley and Lady Elizabeth Finch, on 12 July 1731 at Somerset House Chapel, The Strand, London, England^G, She brought him estates worth supposedly £100,000, including Bramham, Yorkshire.¹ He died on 22 February 1773 at Bramham Park, Yorkshire, England^G, without surviving issue.¹ His will (dated 30 May 1770) was proven (by probate) on 27 April 1773.¹
     He was given the name of George Fox at birth.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Hindon between 1734 and 1741.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of York between 1742 and 1761.¹ On 22 March 1750/51 his name was legally changed to George Fox-Lane by Act of Parliament.¹ He was created 1st Baron Bingley, co. York [Great Britain] on 13 May 1762.¹
