     Iona Mary Colquhoun was born on 22 June 1945.3 She was the daughter of Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss, 8th Bt. and Kathleen Nimmo Duncan.3,4 She married Ian Campbell, 12th Duke of Argyll, son of Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll and Louise Hollingsworth Morris Clews, on 4 July 1964.1 She died on 22 February 2024 at age 78.5
     Her married name became Campbell. After her marriage, Iona Mary Colquhoun was styled as Duchess of Argyll on 7 April 1973.
