He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Atkins, of Clapham, Surrey [E., 1660] on 29 March 1728.1 He was educated in 1732 at Abingdon Grammar School, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Atkins, of Clapham, Surrey [E., 1660] on 1 September 1742.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Buckinghamshire from 1750 to 1751.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

He was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1626.1 He matriculated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 3 November 1626.1 In April 1644 he had a warrant for a baronetcy from King Charles I.2 He was created 1st Baronet Aubrey, of Llantrithyd, co. Glamorgan [England] on 23 July 1660.1
