Sir John Stonhouse, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1639.1 He was the son of Sir John Stonhouse, 1st/3rd Bt. and Hon. Margaret Lovelace.2 He married Martha Brigges, daughter of Robert Brigges, on 10 October 1668.1 He died circa 1700.1
He was educated at Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was admitted to Gray’s Inn.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stonhouse, of Radley, Berkshire [E., 1670] circa 1675.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Abingdon between 1675 and 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Abingdon between 1685 and 1687.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Abingdon between January 1690 and February 1690.1
