Catherine Cornewall1

Catherine Cornewall was the daughter of Velters Cornewall and Catherine Hanbury.1,3 She married Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Amyand, 1st Bt. and Anna Maria Korteen, on 18 July 1771.1 She died on 27 March 1835.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1835.1

He lived at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1722 and 1768.2

Sir George Cornewall, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 January 1774.1 He was the son of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall.1 He was baptised at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He married Jane Naper, daughter of William Naper and Jane Travell, on 26 September 1815.1 He died on 27 December 1835 at age 61 at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1836.1
He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 27 April 1792.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] circa August 1819, and from 1771, ‘of Moccas Court, co. Hereford.1‘ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Herefordshire Militia.1

He was given the name of William Dutton at birth.2 Circa 1777 his name was legally changed to William Naper by Act of Parliament, under the terms of his father’s will.2 He lived at Loughcrew, County Meath, IrelandG.1

Hereford.1‘ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 19 October 1842.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Herefordshire in 1847.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1855 in the Herefordshire Militia.1
