     Sir Thomas Frankland Lewis, 1st Bt. was born on 14 May 1780.¹ He was the son of John Lewis and Anne Frankland.¹ He married, firstly, Harriet Cornewall, daughter of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall, on 12 January 1805.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anne Ashton, daughter of John Ashton, on 15 October 1839.¹ He died on 22 January 1855 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Radnorshire between 1804 and 1805.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beaumaris between 1812 and 1826.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ennis between 1826 and 1828.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Radnorshire between 1828 and 1834.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Lewis [U.K.] on 11 July 1846.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Radnor Boroughs between 1847 and 1855.¹

     Mary Anne Ashton is the daughter of John Ashton.¹ She married Sir Thomas Frankland Lewis, 1st Bt., son of John Lewis and Anne Frankland, on 15 October 1839.¹
     From 15 October 1839, her married name became Lewis.¹

     John Ashton gained the rank of Captain in the Horse Guards.¹

     Harriet Cornewall was the daughter of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall.¹ She married Sir Thomas Frankland Lewis, 1st Bt., son of John Lewis and Anne Frankland, on 12 January 1805.¹ She died on 11 August 1838.¹
     From 12 January 1805, her married name became Lewis.¹

     Henry Cornewall married Susanna Williams, daughter of Sir John Williams, 2nd Bt. and Susan Skipwith.¹ He died in 1717.¹
     He lived at Moccas, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Susanna Williams is the daughter of Sir John Williams, 2nd Bt. and Susan Skipwith.¹ She married Henry Cornewall.¹
     Her married name became Cornewall.¹

     Judith Herbert is the daughter of Sir James Herbert.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Powell, 1st Bt. before 1722.¹ She married, secondly, Velters Cornewall, son of Henry Cornewall and Susanna Williams, in 1722.¹
     From before 1722, her married name became Powell.¹ From 1722, her married name became Cornewall.¹

     Sir Thomas Powell, 1st Bt. married Judith Herbert, daughter of Sir James Herbert, before 1722.¹ He died before 1722.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Powell.

     Jane Bray was the daughter of Edmund Bray.¹ She married Velters Cornewall, son of Henry Cornewall and Susanna Williams, in October 1734.¹ She died on 10 April 1735.¹
     From October 1734, her married name became Cornewall.¹

     Edmund Bray lived at Barrington Court, Gloucestershire, England.¹
