     Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. was born on 8 November 1748.¹ He was the son of Sir George Amyand, 1st Bt. and Anna Maria Korteen.¹ He married Catherine Cornewall, daughter of Velters Cornewall and Catherine Hanbury, on 18 July 1771.² He died on 26 August 1819 at age 70.¹ He was also reported to have died in September 1819.² He was buried at Moccas Court, Herefordshire, England^G.²
     He was given the name of George Amyand at birth.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 6 April 1766.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] on 16 August 1766, and from 1771, ‘of Moccas Court, co.
