He was given the name of Thomas Pechell at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pechell, of Paglesham, co. Essex [G.B., 1797] on 13 January 1800.1 In 1801 his name was legally changed to Thomas Brooke-Pechell in compliance with his mother’s will.1 He lived at Aldwick, Sussex, England.3
