     From 29 June 1996, her married name became Cooper.¹

     Christopher Hughes lived at Furneaux Pelham, Buntingford, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Venetia Elizabeth Somerset Cooper was born on 8 January 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Simon Christie Cooper and Juliet Elizabeth Palmer.¹

     Anthea Somerset Palmer was born on 1 April 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Geoffrey Inderwick Palmer and Diana Millicent Somerset.¹

     Catherine Annabella Inderwick Palmer was born on 20 November 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Geoffrey Inderwick Palmer and Diana Millicent Somerset.¹

     Lieutenant FitzRoy Aubrey Somerset was born on 21 December 1892.¹ He was the son of Arthur William FitzRoy Somerset and Gwendolin Adelaide Katherine Georgiana Matilda Somerset.¹ He died on 7 July 1916 at age 23, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 13th Service Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War. He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     John Plantagenet Edward Henry Somerset was born in 1826.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lord William George Henry Somerset and Elizabeth Molyneux.¹ He died in 1838.¹

     Reverend Boscawen Thomas George Henry Somerset was born on 2 June 1833.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lord William George Henry Somerset and Elizabeth Molyneux.¹ He married, firstly, Florence Smallwood Clarke, daughter of John Were Clarke and Frances Carew, on 24 September 1863.¹ He married, secondly, Sophia Vernon Powys, daughter of Rt. Rev. Hon. Horatio Powys and Percy Gore Currie, on 14 November 1878.¹ He died on 13 June 1893 at age 60.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector at Crickhowell, Breconshire, Wales^G.¹

     Florence Smallwood Clarke was born in 1831.² She was the daughter of John Were Clarke and Frances Carew.^1,2 She married Reverend Boscawen Thomas George Henry Somerset, son of Reverend Lord William George Henry Somerset and Elizabeth Molyneux, on 24 September 1863.¹ She died on 8 May 1874, without issue.¹
     From 24 September 1863, her married name became Somerset.¹
