     Lady Helen Victoria Lilian Kerr was born on 9 December 1872.² She was the daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ She married Colonel Frederick Walter Kerr, son of Admiral Lord Frederic Herbert Kerr and Emily Sophia Maitland, on 5 April 1902.¹ She died on 4 June 1968 at age 95.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Admiral Lord Frederic Herbert Kerr was born on 30 September 1818.² He was the son of William Kerr, 6th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Harriet Scott.² He married Emily Sophia Maitland, daughter of General Sir Peregrine Maitland and Lady Sarah Lennox, on 13 January 1846 at Cape Province, South Africa.² He died on 15 January 1896 at age 77.²
     He held the office of Groom-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1868 and 1891.² He held the office of Extra Groom-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1891 and 1896.² He held the office of Bath King of Arms between 1891 and 1896.²

     Emily Sophia Maitland was born in 1827 at Canada.² She was the daughter of General Sir Peregrine Maitland and Lady Sarah Lennox.^1,2 She married Admiral Lord Frederic Herbert Kerr, son of William Kerr, 6th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Harriet Scott, on 13 January 1846 at Cape Province, South Africa.¹ She died on 16 December 1891 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Colonel Frederick Walter Kerr was born on 20 May 1867.¹ He was the son of Admiral Lord Frederic Herbert Kerr and Emily Sophia Maitland.¹ He married Lady Helen Victoria Lilian Kerr, daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott, on 5 April 1902.¹ He died on 31 October 1914 at age 47, killed in action.¹
     He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria between 1879 and 1883.¹ He fought in the Chitral Campaign.¹ He fought in the Tirah Campaign.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He was DAQMG of the 1st Army Corps between 1904 and 1906.¹ He was GSO(2) of the Aldershot between 1905 and 1906.¹ He was Deputy Assistant Director of Movements, War Office between 1908 and 1912.¹ He was GSO(1) of the Scottish Command between 1913 and 1914.¹ Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War, with the BEFemale, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Walter William Schomberg Kerr, Earl of Ancram was born on 29 March 1867.¹ He was the son of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ He died on 15 June 1892 at age 25 at Quiddeng, New South Wales, Australia^G, accidentally shot dead.¹
     He was styled as Earl of Ancram between 1870 and 1892.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots Lothian Regiment.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of New South Wales.¹

     Lord Schomberg Henry Mark Kerr was born on 4 August 1869.¹ He was the son of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ He died on 25 August 1870 at age 1.¹

     Lady Cecil Victoria Constance Kerr was born on 14 February 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. John Walter Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 2nd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, son of Henry John Montagu Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 1st Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Hon. Cecily Susan Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, on 4 June 1889.¹ She died on 13 September 1919 at age 53.¹
     Her married name became Douglas-Scott-Montagu. After her marriage, Lady Cecil Victoria Constance Kerr was styled as Baroness Montagu of Beaulieu on 4 November 1905.

     Lady Margaret Isobel Kerr was born on 12 June 1868.¹ She was the daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ She died on 2 September 1964 at age 96, unmarried.¹

     Lady Mary Kerr was born on 25 December 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ She married Henry Kidd, son of Robert Charles Kidd, on 7 December 1897.¹ She died on 31 December 1958 at age 88, leaving issue.¹
     Her married name became Kidd.

     Lady Victoria Alexandria Alberta Kerr was born on 7 November 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Schomberg Henry Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian and Lady Victoria Alexandria Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ She married Major William Sullivan Gosling, son of Robert Gosling, on 12 November 1903.¹ She died on 23 May 1956 at age 79.¹
     Her married name became Gosling.
