Sir William Douglas1 
Sir William Douglas also went by the nick-name of ‘the Flower of Chivalry’.1 He was created 1st Earl of Atholl [Scotland] on 18 July 1341.1 He abdicated as Earl of Atholl after July 1341 in favour of Robert Stewart, grandson of King Robert I.1 On 3 November 1351 he entailed his lands of Liddesdale on the sons of his brother, John Douglas.1

Aodh de Ross, 4th Earl of Ross1

He held the office of Sheriff of Cromartie in 1316.5 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Ross [S., c. 1225] on 28 January 1322/23.1 He fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333.6

Malise, 8th Earl of Strathearn1 
He succeeded as the Earl of Caithness [S., 1030] between 1320 and 1329, jointly.3 He gained the title of 8th Earl of Strathearn between 1323 and 1329.1,3 In 1331 he seems to have enjoyed revenues of a quarter of the Earldom of Caithness.2 In 1332 he was attainted and his honours forfeited.2 He gained the title of Earl of Orkney before 1334.2
