He married Victoria Alice Elisabeth Julie Marie Mountbatten, Princess of Battenberg, daughter of Admiral Louis Alexander Mountbatten, 1st Marquess of Milford Haven and Victoria Alberta Elisabeth Mathilde Marie Prinzessin von Hessen und bei Rhein, on 7 October 1903 at Darmstadt, Hessen, GermanyG.3 He died on 3 December 1944 at age 62 at Monte Carlo, MonacoG.3
He gained the title of HRH Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark.4
