Marie Louise d‘Orléans was born on 27 March 1662 at Palais Royale, Paris, FranceG.1 She was the daughter of Philippe de France, Duc d’Orléans and Henrietta Anne Stuart.1 She married Carlos II von Habsburg, Rey de España, son of Felipe IV von Habsburg, Rey de España and Maria Anne Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 19 November 1679 at Quintanapalla, Burgos, Castile, SpainG.1 She married Carlos II von Habsburg, Rey de España, son of Felipe IV von Habsburg, Rey de España and Maria Anne Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 31 August 1679 at Fontainebleau, Île-de-France, FranceG, in a proxy marriage.1 She died on 12 February 1689 at age 26 at Madrid, SpainG, without issue.1
She was also known as Mademoiselle d’Orléans.1

He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve of Officer, Scots Guards.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India between 1917 and 1919.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1926.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kincardineshire in 1930.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Balinhard, of Farnell, Forfar [U.K., 1869] on 10 November 1941.1 He succeeded as the 11th Lord Carnegie of Kinnaird [S., 1616] on 10 November 1941.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Carnegie, of Pittarrow, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1663] on 10 November 1941.2 He succeeded as the 11th Lord Carnegie of Kinnaird and Leuchars [S., 1633] on 10 November 1941.1 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Southesk [S., 1633] on 10 November 1941.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Angus in 1947.2

He married Hon. Caroline Cecily Dewar, daughter of Henry Evelyn Alexander Dewar, 3rd Baron Forteviot and Cynthia Monica Starkie, on 11 September 1956 at Perth, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 He and Hon. Caroline Cecily Dewar were divorced in December 1966 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.3 He died on 22 June 2015 at age 85.4
He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.5 He fought in the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1950, with the Scots Guards.5 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.5 He succeeded as the 3rd Duke of Fife [U.K., 1900] on 26 February 1959.6 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Macduff, co. From 11 September 1956, her married name became Carnegie. After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Cecily Dewar was styled as Duchess of Fife on 26 February 1959. From 7 November 1980, her married name became Worsley.4
