     Lucy Burness was born on 13 November 1850.¹ She was the daughter of James Burness and Harriet Curtis.¹ She married Dr. William D’Oyly Grange, son of Major Charles Walter Grange and Helena Maria Kingsmill, on 7 June 1883 at St. Barnabas Church, Kensington, London, England.¹ She died on 11 January 1946 at age 95.¹
